Annessa joined the Faithful Hospitality team in July 2024 as Volunteer Coordinator, a position that connects her with many amazing people in many different communities. From indoor soccer games to sand art crafts to conversations over hot chocolate, Annessa’s work creating spaces of mutual welcoming alongside congregations and families allows her to witness beautiful, mundane moments between Faithful Hospitality families and volunteers.

Annessa considers herself lucky to have gained experience and learned from a handful of organizations committed to welcoming immigrants and providing housing here in the Twin Cities: Arrive Ministries, Jonathan House, Minneapolis Public Housing Authority.

Annessa comes from Appleton, WI (but, no, she’s not a Packers fan) and now lives in Roseville. She graduated from Bethel University with a degree in International Relations and Spanish. In her spare time, Annessa enjoys running, reading, journaling, and anything that is outside with loved ones.
