Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul Announces Leadership Transition

, ,

The Board of Directors of Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul announces that Liliana Letran-Garcia will conclude her service as Chief Executive Officer in early 2026, as she prepares to step into the role of President and CEO of CLUES (Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio).

Since joining Interfaith Action in October 2023, Letran-Garcia has led the organization through a period of strategic strengthening and renewal. Under her leadership, Interfaith Action advanced long-term sustainability efforts, deepened partnerships with faith communities, strengthened organizational infrastructure, and continued to expand programs that support housing stability, economic mobility, and dignity for neighbors across the East Metro.

“Liliana has led with clarity, courage, and deep respect for community,” said Gail Olson, Board President of Interfaith Action. “We are grateful for her leadership in a time of both change and challenge, and for preparing Interfaith Action for the future. We will miss her contagious optimism and welcoming presence.”

The Board of Directors has begun a thoughtful transition planning process to ensure continuity in leadership, operations, and community partnerships. Interfaith Action’s senior leadership team remains in place, and all programs and services will continue without interruption.

“This organization is strong because it is rooted in people, in interfaith communities, and in wisdom gatherings that believe that faith, love and hope must be made visible through action,” said Letran-Garcia. “Serving alongside this community has been a profound honor, and I carry deep hope and confidence in Interfaith Action’s future.”

Additional details regarding interim leadership and next steps will be shared in the coming months. Interfaith Action remains firmly committed to its mission of building community and advancing equity through interfaith collaboration and service.
