Covid Community Coordinator
The Department of Indian Work serves as a Covid Community Coordinator (CCC) for the Minnesota Department of Health. CCCs are trusted, community-based organizations that connect Minnesota’s diverse communities to Covid testing, vaccination, and other resources.
As a CCC, DIW serves the entire Twin Cities American Indian community and can answer questions about:
- What COVID-19 vaccines are available and how and where to get vaccinated
- Where to get tested for COVID-19
- Food support
- Health care and mental health resources
- Housing and rental assistance
- Employment resources
