Interfaith Youth Connection participants work together to reduce prejudice and misunderstanding and to address community needs through service projects. Last year, 215 youth came together for leadership training and service to community, giving 393 hours of service.
The group annually helps host the Interfaith Youth Day of Service, a free event for students in grades 6-12 from all religious and cultural backgrounds.
The Youth Leadership Team meets one to two times monthly to talk about faith and religious bigotry, to learn and practice the art of leadership, and to work together on social justice projects. The Youth Leadership Team plans the annual Interfaith Youth Day of Service, as well as other events and projects throughout the year.
