Theresa Halvorson-Lee joined Interfaith Action full time in May 2020, having served as an intern since November 2019. In her new position, she helps families who visit the food shelf access other resources to address their holistic needs.
Prior to joining Interfaith Action, Theresa worked with Fraser assisting high-functioning adults with autism. She helped them build daily living skills in scheduling, record keeping, meal preparation and transportation management. She also worked for a medical transportation management as a floor support supervisor, scheduling transportation for families on Medical Assistance.
Theresa is a member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Sioux tribe of South Dakota and a member of Redeeming Love Church in Maplewood. She is happy to utilize her knowledge, skills and empathy to uplift Native people and everyone with whom she works and interacts!
