Rev. Phillip Romine

Director, Opportunity Saint Paul

Phil focuses on building and deepening relationships between houses of worship and the needs of our community partners.

Prior to serving first as Interfaith Action’s Congregational Engagement Coordinator and now as Director of Opportunity Saint Paul, Phil served in roles at Valley Community Presbyterian Church and Central Presbyterian Church, one of Interfaith Action’s partner. He also was Director of Admissions at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and worked with incredible colleagues and students for more than six years at the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA), supporting students through transformative educational experiences.

Phil is ordained as a Christian pastor in the PC(USA) denomination. He earned dual master’s degrees from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. In his spare time, you can find him at parks with his children and spouse, gardening, homebrewing beer, or planning his next trip to visit his wider family in Germany.
