The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Breakfast began in 1991 when the UNCF and General Mills joined together to host a celebration honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event aims to inspire individuals to live out Dr. King’s message of unity within our communities and beyond.

Since 2017, the event has also raised funds to support the UNCF and their mission to assist under-represented students in accessing and completing college, as well as attending historically Black colleges and universities.

2026 marked the 25th year of Interfaith Action’s partnership with General Mills to bring the Holiday Breakfast to satellite locations, welcoming more of our community to celebrate and engage with Dr. King’s legacy.
