Mary Lillo

Family Coach, Economic Mobility Hub

Mary joined Interfaith Action as a Family Coach with the Economic Mobility Hub for American Indians in December 2024. In this role, she has the honor of supporting families with children and walking with them on their journey toward greater economic stability, resolving challenges, and developing their own solutions to reach their personal goals while providing a safe space to access and navigate culturally-responsive, community-based resources and services.

Mary previously served parents of children living with mental illness at NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) after years of service in several positions supporting survivors in rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Mary was born in Minnesota/Mni Sota Makoce and grew up in the St. Paul area. She has four children who are Ojibwe and Cree.
