News from Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul

Standing in Solidarity with our Community

,
We at Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul are heartbroken and outraged by the killing of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. We stand in solidarity with our neighbors, guests, and clients who are living in a community where a pandemic and the murder of Mr. Floyd have laid bare stark educational, economic and health disparities.

Open to listening, listening to open

,
Randi Ilyse Roth, Bishop Jon Anderson, Rabbi Aaron S. Weininger, Rabbi Jill E. Crimmings, and Imam Asad Zaman write in the Pioneer Press about the inclusive interfaith conversations with the Department of Public Safety to help our communities stay safe as places of worship consider re-opening in this pandemic.

A New Plan for American Indian Youth Enrichment this Summer

American Indian youth who have completed grades 1 – 8 and live in St. Paul are invited to enjoy 4 weeks of cultural opportunities. Due to COVID19, we will offer our summer program through distance learning, with instructions and materials delivered to your door!

Grateful Beyond Measure for All of You

It is hard to put into words how grateful we are to our community for its incredible response over the past few weeks. And by "community" we mean staff, board, donors, funders, volunteers, Project Home guests, Department of Indian Work clients, interfaith clergy, member congregations, and civic leaders.
