SuperShelf Transforms DIW Food Shelf

Thanks to SuperShelf, our Department of Indian food shelf has undergone a tremendous transformation to be a more welcoming, grocery store-like experience for our clients, with more access to healthy food.

SuperShelf uses behavioral economics to make the healthiest choice the easiest choice, while promoting and respecting individual choice. Results from pilot programs show SuperShelves are sustainable, well-received by clients and volunteers, practical and scalable, and successful in increasing access to healthy and culturally appropriate foods.
